This beautifully made Peg dog is an outstanding piece of art, & normally sells for about this price without the mixed metals English antique candlestick & without the Spar Brenner costly burner & chimney! The price this quality lamp is offered is already way way below market price and would be an outstanding memorable addition to any superior collection.

For your consideration is this EXCEPTIONAL English made  rare & pristine undamaged  Victorian art glass small miniature peg oil lamp base and a hard to find very high end fully functional mint period Spar Brenner burner (with it' wick, and a signed perfect rare chimney,  The original peg spacer is present.. As you are most probably aware of most of these 1880's fancier peg lamp figural bases display serious flaws: (Chips, cracks, deep staining, large or excessive bubbles, stars & bruises, etc. This base is as free of these. This peg base will be very easy to find a quality candlestick (which I have many quality fine antique candlesticks for sale) which I purchased expressly for peg lamps. This is one of the most exceptional peg base I have ever had, period; & you will love it too!!

 All pictures were taken to achieve its true colors; completed, this lamp would make absolutely one of your favorites! The dogie is shown with a French special antique solid brass candlestick that  I purchased many years ago to display peg lamps.

I assembled the lamp with a short candlestick in mind. This helps keep the height to a minimum.
