ITEM #104 Footed/Amberina/Rigaree Antique Art Glass Miniature Oil Lamp Very Rare

CONDITION REPORT: Very close to Mint.

HEIGHT: 9 1/4" tall

The only flaw is that this rawest & coveted lamp possesses one tiny toe-tip chip (one of its tinyest feet.  This Amberina lamp treasure contains a scalloped shade that is amber on the very top of the shade, as well as on its riggery, and feet! The English lamp stands only 9 1/4" tall and is valued in the reference book  (dated 1996) for $2900. There is also a very similar superior lamp listed with the same shape & similar size in HII 559  which is pink & marbled.

Up for your consideration is this exceptionally very very rare , H 401 footed amberina colored lamp which feathers, amber rigaree, the most unusual artistic feet & shade designs which ultimately created one of the most beautiful lamps ever made! . This exceptionally beautiful amberina art glass lamp in this very close to mint condition may be one of the finest & rarest lamps ever on eBay. The Kosmos Brenner type burner also is in excellent condition, & works easily raising & lowering the wick that is present. 

After close examination I could only find the one (toe tip that has the last maybee 1/16th of an inch loss. There are hardly any blemishes at all, and none even close to mentioning; no staining, and no mold problems from manufacturing.   We have covered the glass that is undamaged, & the color match between the base & shade matches really perfectly!. Even the rare 5" step down chimney is rare and exceptional.

The referenced lamp from the Marjorie Hulsebus collection as listed is slightly different than this example as the lamp in the book is cranberry with amber rigaree and this lamp is Amberina!
